Hoylake Win with an 86-42 victory under their belt.

Tries came from Kieran 2, Ross 4,Joey 4,Jake 4,.

Conversions came from George 4 and Ross 2.Kieran 2

Ross was man of the match for his excellent performance given by the parks coach.

COACH'S COMMENT

Neil Bourne:
The team played well.
I was very happy with some aspects of the match but we still need to work on some of our basic rugby skills.
But a good win and a happy camp !!

FIRST QUARTER

From the kick off by Old Parks, Harry Mc gathered the ball, The pack raced in, Brad going on a break before being stopped. After a series of rolling mauls Kieran scored the first try, which Ross converted. 0-7.

A lineout soon after the restart led to the backs passing down the line, Joey led the the pack to win a series of rucks which ended up near the Parks line. Ross picked up and dived over to score. George converted. 0-14.

Harry McN received a kick, passed it to Adam, to Ben, Jake who got caught and set a ruck. Ben went straight into the ruck with the pack, Brad covering for him in the backs. Hoylake won the ruck, Joey passed down the line to Jake, George, Brad and joey who passed to Ross on the loop who scored in the corner. Kieran converted 0-21.

Jake made a lot of ground down the wing before being tackled, Ross picked up and drove over, a ruck formed, Harry Sh broke blind but was caught, Ben went for the line but Park managed to touch down.

Hoylake won the 5m scrum, Joey passing out to Jake, Ben, Adam who was stopped short and laid it back, Joey broke through but was also stopped on the line, and Hoylake were awarded a penalty for a high tackle.

Ross tapped the penalty to Joey, who dived over but was held up.

After some more plays Park conceded a penalty for going to ground in a ruck. George gave the ball to Joey, who scored again. George converted. The quarter ended 0-28 to Hoylake.

SECOND QUARTER

Hoylake restarted, winning the ball with good driving at a scrum. The ball passed out to Jake on the wing, who got tackled but Hoylake won the ruck, the ball passing down the line through every set of hands to Harry Mc, George received the ball and went for the line, Joey fed Ross, to Ben, to Brad. Park stole the ball from the tackle. Ross and Harry Sh stopped the counter attack, the pack putting in a great push to win the ruck. The ball was popped up to Ross, who set a great ruck. Kieran passed out to Joey who fed Jake who went over to score. Ross just missed the conversion.

From the restart Harry Mc gathered the ball, passed to Ross who passed to Joey who ran three-quarters the length of the pitch to score. George converted.
Park won a ruck from the kick off and charged through, Ben and George tackling, Ross jackled it, gave it to Joey who drove in and set. park jackled but were caught, George and the Hoylake pack winning the counter ruck. Joey kicked upfield, Jake and Adam in a foot race with the Park fullback. Adam gathered but was caught and Jake appeared to pick up and cross the line for another try. Kieran converted.

From a Hoylake lineout, Park won but Harry charged through to disrupt the ball, Ben tackled, Ross and Harry brought down the next ball carrier, winning another lineout for Hoylake

The ball went down the line to Joey who got caught before he could pass to Adam on the loop. The pack won the ball, Kieran broke but was stopped, George passed out from the ruck to Ross, the ball going to Jake on the wing before a knock on. From the scrum Ross and Harry Sh led the pack, Jake making a well-timed heel back to win the ball, George passed out to Adam, Ben, to Joey who sprinted in to score with Ben running support. Ross converted

Harry gathered the kick off and charged in, Park jackled but Ross and Harry Sh cancelled out their big guy. Hoylake were awarded a penalty for a handling offence in the ruck and the half ended
THIRD QUARTER

From a lineout and a series of runs by forwards that ended in rucks, George passed out to Ben, Jake, who cut inside to score under the posts, with Joey in support.George converted.

Brad gathered the restart kick, cut through and passed out to Ben who belted down the touchline before being tackled.

Park won a penalty at a ruck and gave it to one of their big guys, who Ben, tackled. Hoylake drove the maul forward, Ben got his hands on the ball, Jake broke out with the ball, raced upfield, passed to to Joey who cut through three defenders to score under the posts.
From the kick off Harry tidied up a loose ball, Ross picked up and cut back into the pack to set up a ruck. Park managed to kick the ball, Ben caught it but got into trouble, Harry arrived in support. Park were penalised at the ruck.

From a scrum Hoylake Joey jumped on a stray pass and went over to score.
A ruck set on the halfway line from the restart, Park kicked over, Ross caught and belted down the right wing to score. Converted.

FOURTH QUARTER

Brad caught the kick off, was caught, Joey picked the ball out of the ruck and gave it to Ross who belted forward but was caught. Park conceded a penalty for offside at the ruck.

Harry took the ball in, George fed Jake, Joey and Adam, who cut inside. Park intercepted his pass to jake on their 22m line but Ben went straight in for the tackle and ripped the ball. Brad burst out of the front of the ball and charged for the line but was brought down a few metres short. Ross was first in support, picked and dived for the line to score.

From the kick off Park dominated a maul, driving it many yards before Hoylake finally got stuck in and stopped the push close to their try line. Park pounced when the ball came out on the Hoylake side and managed to touch down and convert

Brad caught a penalty kick beautifully and set a ruck, Harry went blind with Ben in support but went into touch.

Harry stole possession from the Park lineout. George dug out the ball and passed to Joey, to Jake who hared off down the wing before being tackled. Ross set the ruck, Ben passed to Brad, Joey on the loop who kicked on. The park fullback passed to their centre, who kicked it back. Brad gathered and Park were penalised for offside.

Ross, Joey and Ben put in some good tackled after a maul on the halfway line to stop the park attack. But from a scrum a few metres out, the Park scrum half managed a classic blindside dart to the line to score and convert. .

Hoylake won 86-42overall.
